A step-by-step retelling of my observations of a Jordanian man (A) introducing his friends to another friend (B):
1) A and B greet each other verbally and with a firm right-handed handshake. They pull towards each other, A embraces B, and they kiss on both cheeks.
2) A introduces his friends to B one at a time. During each introduction, each friend gives a firm right-handed handshake to B, along with a verbal greeting. A still stands closest to B.
3) Conversation between A and B ensues, with A's friends chiming in.
4) Departure - A and B shake hands again. A's friends wave goodbye and give a verbal greeting.
